How to Apply

1. Log in to Facts: Korea (www.factsaboutkorea.go.kr) (member sign-up required)
2. Under the menu of 'Friends of Korea,' click on the 19th class recruitment notice for 'Friends of Korea. (*The recruitment notice can only be viewed by clicking Language → Korean on the website.)
3. Submit your application form and a 2-minute self-introduction video (*Application is completed when the View Application button is activated) 

Eligibility

• Koreans and foreigners aged 18 or older residing in Korea or abroad (International applicants must be able to communicate in Korean at a level where they can fulfill their duties as a member)
• Those who possess general knowledge about Korea and have an interest in the country, including its culture and history
• Able to utilize language skills to research and investigate the distribution of Korea-related information presented in overseas media and report errors; able to promote services both online and offline

Member Benefits

• Support for activity materials and expenses such as Activity Guidebook and souvenirs
• Opportunities to participate in various events such as educational programs and meetings, etc.
• Recognition of achievements on the 1365 Volunteer Portal
• Issuance of member activity certificates (issuance criteria to be announced later)
• Awards for outstanding achievers, including a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and a certificate issued by the Chief of Friends of Korea

Others

• Successful applicants will be notified separately by email, and a follow-up schedule on the launching ceremony, etc., will be announced later
• Successful applicants have to attend the launching ceremony (applicants residing overseas should participate online), non-attendance of the launching ceremony will result in disqualification
