Q: I'm currently residing overseas; am I eligible to apply?

A: All scheduled events will be held in Korea, so we are looking for supporters who will be residing in the country for the duration of the program.

Q: Is proficiency in Korean a mandatory requirement for application?

A: while high proficiency in Korean is not strictly required, basic Korean skills are highly encouraged to facilitate communication with fellow Korean supporters and to ensure smooth participation in the program.

Tahun 2025 ini saya mencoba mendaftar segala kegiatan supporter Korea dan sepertinya rejekinya dapat di K-Influencer. 

Agak gimana yah karena basicnya kalau K-Influencer kan video YouTube sedangkan saya masih sangat newbie dan bisa dibilang belum didukung oleh device yang mumpuni tapi ya sudahlah~ 

Padahal sebenarnya saya sudah tahu kegiatan ini sejak tahun 2020 dimana pada saat itu saya hanya submit sebagai Honorary Reporter karena berbagai alasan. Tapi tahun kita memberanikan diri untuk mencoba karea butuh ilmu dan juga seklaian keberanian untuk memulai sebuat project channel YouTube. Itung-itung nanti ilmunya bisa dipakai pada saat pembuatan video untuk persyaratan serdos nantinya.

Jadi, mari kita coba~

Saat pendafataran kita diminta untuk mengisi data termasuk semua data media sosial yang digunakan mulai dari Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok,  dan lainnya. Kita juga diminta untuk menguload 2 file yaitu Portofolio dan Proposal untuk channel YouTube kita nantinya.

Pengumuman

Hari pengumuman pun tiba~

Email yang masuk berisi notifikasi hasil perekrutan pun mengatakan saya diterima sebagai K-Influencer pada K-Influencer Academy 2025 ini. Alhamdulillah~

Email notifikasi juga berisi informasi mengenai Goggle Classroom yang akakan digunakan sebagai sarana untuk memberikan informasi, kelas, ataupun tugas yang diberikan setiap bulannya.

Selain itu, juga informasi mengenai "Indution Ceremony" yang merupakan upacara penerimaan sebagai anggota baru K-Inflencer yang diadakan setiap tahun. Tahun ini diadakan pada 29 April 2025 yang disiarkan secara langsung melalui akun YouTube resmi @Kinfluencer dan juga melalui Zoom Meeting. Untungnya saya gercep mendaftar untuk untuk ikut serta di Zoom Meeting karena hanya terbatas untuk 100 orang pendaftar tercepat. Kalau masuk Zoom Meeting kan biar lebih gimana gitu dibandingkan hanya bisa menonton siaran lansgungnya di YouTube.

Rehearsal

Berhubung terpilih sebagai peserta Zoom Meeting maka diwajibkan untuk mengikuti rehearsal alias gladi resik diadakan untuk buat kami yang ada di Zoom Meeting sehari sebelumnya yang intinya diminta untuk menyalakan video dan menunjukkan sertifikat K-Influencer ke layar nantinya. Gladi resiknya pun tidak lama hanya beberapa menit dan beres.

Induction Ceremony

Hari pun tiba dimana Induction Ceremony dimulai. Sepertinya memang sudah budayanya yang cepat-cepat jadnya meskipun ini moment untuk upacara penerimaan tapi pelaksanaannya kurang dari setengah jam dan memang kondusif. 

Pada saat Induction Ceremony ada pembukaan, pemberikan sertifikat kepada perwakilan K-Influencer yang ada di Korea maupun secara online. Jadi, 2 yang hadir secara lansgung dan 2 juga yang diberikan secara online. Ada juga sepatah dua kata dari K-Influencer.

Nah, memang bagi K-Influencer yang berada di Korea juga bisa mengikuti cara secara langsung, mudah-mudahan tahun depan sudah bisa atau setidaknya ikut yang di Jakarta.

Selanjutnya sesi foto K-Influencer dengan memperlihatkan sertifikat masing-masing.

Setelah itu, ada materi dari Kak Chan Shin Young (mudah-mudahan gak salah yah) terkait apa sih K-Influencer itu, apa tugasnya, dan keegiatannya.

Nah, sejak diadakan tahun 2020, kegiatan K-Influencer Academy ini memang sudah melalui perkembangan dari yang awalnya 620 orang daro 72 negara, 1.224 orang dari 76 negara di tahn 2021, 1.856 orang dari 103 negara di tahun 2022, 1.928 orang dari 195 negara di tahun 2023, dan 1.253 orang dari 97 negara di tahun 2024.

Pada tahun 2025 ini, kalau ditotalkan maka ada 1.303 K-Influencer yang tergabung dari 95 negara yang tersebar di berbagai benua di dunia mulai dari Asia, Afrika, Eropa, Amerika Serikat, Amerika Utara, dan Oceania Gak tanggung-tanggung Indonesia memiliki urutan ke-4 yang memiliki jumlah K-Influencer terbanyak dengan jumlah 102 partisipan.

Indonesia memang memiliki anmali yang tinggi kalau bicara terkait Korea termasuk sebagai supporter untuk kegiatan maupun konten berbau Korea. Apalagi didukung oleh berbagai instansi resmi Korea yang terdapat di Indonesia mulai dari Kedutaan Besar Republik Korea untuk Republik Indonesia, Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI), Konsulat Republik Korea di Bali, Kantor Perwakilan Provinsi Gyeongsang Selatan, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Jakarta, dan masih banyak lainnya.

Selama satu tahun ke depan, saya sebagai K-Influencer akan bertugas untuk membuat dan memproduksi konten video namun akan dibekali dengan ilmu untuk mengyajikan video-on-demand (VoD). Nantikan yah!
